Possible Causes
Aging oven temperature sensor, Control calibration offset, Poor rack placement or overloading, Door gasket leaks causing heat loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use an oven thermometer rated for high temperatures to verify actual temperature.
- Measure temperature: Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat and cycle for at least 20–30 minutes. Compare the reading on the oven thermometer.
- Adjust calibration: Many Asko ranges allow temperature offset adjustment in the user settings. Refer to the manual to increase or decrease the displayed temperature to match actual performance.
- Inspect gasket: Check the door gasket for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if it does not seal evenly.
- Replace sensor: If calibration cannot correct a large error, replace the oven temperature sensor.
Always place the thermometer in the center of the oven on a middle rack for accurate readings.
