Oven light does not work on Avanti range, but oven heats normally

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before replacing the bulb or socket.

• Replace bulb: Remove the light cover inside the oven (usually by turning counterclockwise). Replace with the correct high-temperature oven bulb.
• Inspect socket: If the new bulb does not light, inspect the socket for corrosion or burn marks. Replace the oven light socket if damaged.
• Check switch: On some models, a door switch or control relay powers the light. Test the door switch for continuity when the door is open. Replace if faulty.
