Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the range from mains power by switching off the circuit breaker or unplugging. Confirm the display is off before working.
- Power reset: Turn off power for 5–10 minutes, then restore. If F0 clears and does not return, it may have been a temporary logic fault.
- Check for moisture/cleaning residue: Inspect the glass touch panel for signs of liquid spills or aggressive cleaning agents. Gently dry the area with a soft cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly on the panel; spray onto cloth first.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover (usually from the back or front top, depending on model). Locate the flat ribbon cable from the touch panel to the control board. Reseat it carefully and ensure no corrosion or burn marks.
- Test keypad: With power restored, test each key. If F0 reappears when certain keys are pressed or without pressing anything, the touch panel is likely defective.
- Replace faulty part: If the error persists after reseating and drying, replace the complete touch control / glass keypad assembly. If a new keypad does not resolve it, the EOC (clock module) must be replaced.
Warning: Do not work on live circuits. If you are not comfortable removing the control panel, contact a qualified Bauknecht service technician.
