Possible Causes
Incorrect mains connection (single vs three-phase), Loose terminal block connections, Wrong voltage selection, Internal control configuration error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the main breaker and verify no voltage is present at the range terminal block before inspection.
- Check supply configuration: Confirm that the range is wired according to the Bauknecht installation diagram (single-phase 230V or three-phase, depending on model). Incorrect bridging of terminals can trigger F12.
- Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover to access the mains terminal block. Tighten all screws and check for signs of overheating or melted plastic.
- Verify voltage: Using a multimeter (qualified persons only), confirm correct voltage between phases and neutral/earth.
- Reset control: After correcting wiring, restore power and perform any required configuration steps described in the service manual (e.g., selecting mains type).
Warning: Mains wiring errors are dangerous and should be corrected by a licensed electrician or authorized service technician.
