F51
Bauknecht Cookware Detection / Induction Sensing Error

Induction cooktop zone shows F51, cookware not recognized or intermittent heating

Advertisements

Possible Causes

Unsuitable cookware (non-magnetic), Cookware too small for zone, Faulty sensing circuit on power board, Loose coil mounting

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the cooktop is off before changing cookware.

  • Check cookware: Use flat-bottomed, ferromagnetic cookware. Test with a magnet; it should stick firmly to the base.
  • Center the pan: Place the pan centrally on the marked cooking zone. Very small pans may not be detected on large zones.
  • Try another pan: If F51 appears only with one pan, the pan is likely unsuitable.
  • Internal check: If F51 appears with all suitable pans, an internal sensing fault is likely. A technician should inspect the coil mounting and power board and replace the module if necessary.

Warning: Do not use warped or uneven pans; they can cause poor detection and overheating.
