Possible Causes
Burned-out ring (convection) element, Loose wiring to convection element, Faulty relay controlling convection element
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and let the oven cool.
- Access convection element: Remove the inner rear panel inside the oven cavity to expose the ring element around the fan.
- Visual check: Look for breaks or burn marks on the ring element.
- Measure resistance: Test the element with a multimeter. Replace if open circuit.
- Check wiring and relay: Inspect wiring to the element and test for supply voltage when convection mode is selected (qualified persons only). If no voltage, suspect the control relay or selector switch.
Warning: Ensure the rear panel is properly reinstalled to maintain correct airflow.
