Oven Lamp Circuit Failure
Oven interior light does not work, all other functions normal

Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder, Broken lamp glass due to heat, Faulty oven light switch or relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power or at least ensure the oven is off and cool before changing the bulb.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass cover over the lamp (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with a high-temperature oven-rated bulb of the same wattage and base type.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for heat damage or corrosion in the lamp holder. Replace if contacts are burnt or loose.
- Test light function: If a new bulb does not work, test for voltage at the lamp holder when the light should be on (door open or light button pressed). If no voltage, suspect the light switch, door switch, or control relay.
Warning: Use only oven-rated bulbs; standard bulbs may shatter from heat.
