Strong burning or electrical smell from oven during use

Safety first: Turn off the oven immediately and disconnect power if the smell is strong or persistent.

• Visual inspection: Once cool, inspect inside the cavity for melted plastic, packaging, or food on elements. Remove any foreign material.
• Check rear and top: Remove rear panel and inspect wiring harnesses for melted insulation or contact with hot surfaces. Reroute and secure with high-temperature clips as needed.
• Fan motor: If the smell comes from the rear and the fan is noisy, replace the fan motor.
• Control area: Inspect the control board for burnt components. Replace the board if damage is found.

Warning: Do not continue using the oven until the source of the smell is identified and corrected.
