How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing the glass top.
- Clean surface: Wipe the glass control area with a dry, soft cloth to remove moisture, spills, or cleaning residues. Allow to dry fully.
- Power reset: Isolate the hob for 5–10 minutes, then restore power and test.
- Inspect ribbon cable: If E6 persists, remove the glass top and check the flat ribbon cable between the touch panel and main PCB. Reseat both ends carefully.
- Check for cracks: Examine the touch PCB for cracks or corrosion. Replace the touch control PCB if damaged.
