Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 10 minutes, then restore power. Observe if F10 reappears immediately or only when a function is selected.
Check connectors: Remove the control panel and inspect all harness connectors between the user interface board and the power/control board. Reseat each connector firmly.
Inspect for damage: Look for signs of heat damage, corrosion, or moisture on both boards and connectors. Correct any moisture source (e.g., steam leaks) before replacing parts.
Configuration check: Some Bertazzoni models require configuration jumpers or DIP switch settings on the control board. Verify they match the model and fuel type per the service documentation.
Replace faulty board: If connections and configuration are correct and F10 persists, replace the main control board or user interface board as indicated by diagnostic procedures.
