Possible Causes
Stuck cooling fan relay on control board, Faulty temperature sensor in control compartment, Shorted wiring to fan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the control area.
- Allow full cool-down: Some Bertazzoni models keep the fan running until internal temperatures drop. Wait at least 60–90 minutes to see if it stops.
- Inspect sensor: Locate the control compartment temperature sensor or thermostat. Test for proper operation; replace if it remains closed when cool.
- Check relay: On the control board, inspect the fan relay for signs of welding or burning. If stuck closed, replace the control board.
- Wiring check: Ensure the fan is not receiving unintended power from a shorted wire.
Note: A short post-cooking fan run is normal; continuous operation is not.
