Bertazzoni
Oven Temperature Calibration / Sensor Drift
Oven temperature too low or too high compared to set point, no error code

Possible Causes
Aging oven temperature sensor, Control calibration offset, Poor rack placement or overloading, Door seal heat loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use an accurate oven thermometer to verify temperature; avoid touching hot surfaces.
- Verify actual temperature: Place an oven thermometer in the center of the oven and preheat to a known temperature (e.g., 350°F / 180°C). Compare the reading after 20–30 minutes.
- Adjust calibration: Many Bertazzoni controls allow a temperature offset adjustment in the settings menu. Increase or decrease the offset according to the measured difference (typically up to ±35°F).
- Inspect door gasket: Check the oven door seal for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace the gasket if it does not seal evenly.
- Sensor check: If calibration cannot correct large deviations, test the oven temperature sensor resistance and replace if out of specification.
Note: Always test with the oven empty and avoid opening the door during measurement.
