• Test other modes: Verify that normal bake and broil functions work; if not, a safety thermostat may be open.
• Inspect lock mechanism: With power off, access the door lock assembly from the top or rear. Check for binding or broken parts.
• Switch test: Use a multimeter to test the lock position switches. Replace the lock assembly if switches fail.
• Thermostat reset: Some models have a manual-reset high-limit thermostat accessible from the rear. Reset if tripped, but investigate overheating causes.
