Possible Causes
Burned-out oven light bulb, Faulty door switch, Failed light switch or relay on EOC, Loose light socket wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before replacing bulbs or accessing wiring.
- Replace bulb: Remove the light lens cover inside the oven and replace the bulb with the correct high‑temperature oven bulb specified by BlueStar.
- Test door switch: Press the door switch plunger by hand and listen for a click. If the light does not respond, test the switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
- Check socket and wiring: Inspect the light socket for corrosion or heat damage. Ensure wires are secure.
- Control relay: If the bulb and switch are good but the light still does not work when commanded from the control panel, the EOC light relay may be defective and require board replacement.
