Possible Causes

Range not leveled, Loose leveling legs, Anti-tip bracket not engaged, Loose internal panels or grates

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the range is cool before moving or adjusting it.

  • Check leveling: Place a level on the cooktop front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust the leveling legs at each corner until the range is stable and level.
  • Verify anti-tip bracket: Pull the range slightly forward and then push back to ensure the rear leg engages the anti-tip bracket as per BlueStar installation instructions.
  • Tighten components: Check that grates, burner caps, and oven racks are properly seated. Tighten any loose screws on side panels or backguard.
  • Floor condition: If the floor is uneven or soft, consider reinforcing or shimming under the legs to provide a solid base.
