Possible Causes
Defective NTC sensor on induction coil, Broken sensor wiring, Poor connector contact, Faulty sensor input on power module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the glass top.
- Visual inspection: Locate the NTC sensor on the affected coil. Check for broken leads or loose connectors.
- Reseat connectors: Unplug and replug the sensor connector to clean contacts.
- Measure resistance: Use a multimeter to measure sensor resistance at room temperature and compare to Bosch specs. Replace the sensor if readings are out of range or infinite/zero.
- Replace module if needed: If a known-good sensor still results in E6, replace the power module.
