Bosch induction cooktop shows E7 and will not allow operation of one or more zones.

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the glass to cool completely.

• Check for hot environment: Ensure the cooktop is not installed above an oven that is venting excessive heat directly onto the glass.
• Inspect sensor (advanced): Remove the glass and locate the surface temperature sensor. Verify it is firmly attached and wiring is intact.
• Test sensor: Measure resistance and compare to Bosch specifications. Replace if defective.
• Replace control module: If the sensor is good, the control module may be misreading temperature and should be replaced.
