Possible Causes
Moisture on ignition switches, Stuck burner knob switch, Faulty spark module, Loose wiring to igniters
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off gas supply at the shutoff valve and disconnect power before servicing. Avoid creating sparks around gas.
- Dry the cooktop: If a spill occurred, remove burner caps and grates, and thoroughly dry the area around the knobs and igniters. Allow several hours for internal switches to dry.
- Check knob switches: Rotate each burner knob on and off. If the clicking continues or F0 remains, a burner valve switch may be stuck closed.
- Inspect wiring: With power off, remove the top and inspect wiring from the switches to the spark module. Reseat loose connectors.
- Replace faulty parts: Replace any shorted burner valve switch or defective spark module if F0 persists.
