Possible Causes
Non-magnetic cookware, warped or too small pan, failed pan detection circuit on induction board, damaged coil sensor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooktop surface is cool before handling cookware. Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Verify pan compatibility: Use a magnet on the bottom of the pan; it should stick firmly. If not, the pan is not suitable for Café induction zones.
- Pan size and position: Make sure the pan fully covers the cooking zone marking and is centered. Very small pans may not be detected.
- Try another pan: Test with a known good induction-compatible pan. If F22 only occurs with one pan, replace that cookware.
- Inspect coil wiring: If F22 occurs with all pans on a specific zone, disconnect power, remove the cooktop, and inspect the wiring from that zone's induction coil to the power module for loose or broken connections.
- Replace module: If wiring and coil are intact, the induction power module pan detection circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
