Possible Causes
Oven temperature sensor reading erratically, Loose sensor connection at ERC, Stuck heating element relay, ERC temperature monitoring failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker immediately if the oven overheats or will not shut off. Allow the unit to cool completely.
- Check sensor and wiring: Test the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and inspect wiring as described for F2/F3. Replace the sensor if readings are unstable or out of spec.
- Inspect relays: Check the relay board or ERC for stuck or welded relays that may keep elements energized. Replace the board if any relay is suspect.
- Verify ventilation: Ensure the oven cooling fan (if equipped) runs during high-temperature operation and that cabinet vents are not blocked.
- Replace ERC if needed: If sensor and relays are good, the ERC may be misreading temperature and should be replaced.
Do not continue using the oven with an unresolved F10 error due to fire risk.
