Possible Causes
Loose harness between UI board and main ERC, Corroded connectors, Failed user interface board, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any panels or boards.
- Locate boards: On many Dacor ranges, the user interface (UI) board is behind the touch panel, and the main control/relay board is behind the rear panel or under the cooktop.
- Check harness connections: Identify the multi-wire harness between the UI and main board. Disconnect, inspect for corrosion or burned pins, and reconnect firmly on both ends.
- Inspect for damage: Look for signs of overheating, moisture, or insect intrusion on both boards.
- Board substitution: If available, replace the UI board first (often the more common failure). If F11 persists, replace the main control board.
Because this involves multiple boards and harnesses, many homeowners prefer to have a Dacor-authorized technician perform this repair.
