Possible Causes
Burned-out halogen or incandescent bulb, Faulty light switch or relay, Corroded lamp socket, Broken wiring to lamp assembly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before replacing bulbs or accessing lamp housings. Glass bulbs can be hot and fragile.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass lens cover inside the oven (often with a quarter-turn). Replace the bulb with the exact type and wattage specified by Dacor (often a high-temperature halogen).
- Check socket: Inspect the socket for corrosion or burning. Replace the lamp assembly if damaged.
- Test switch: If the bulb and socket are good, the light switch or relay on the control board may be faulty and require replacement.
