Possible Causes
Control panel in lockout mode, Faulty door switch or latch, Failed ERC relay enable circuit, Blown internal thermal fuse
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components. Do not bypass safety switches permanently.
- Check control lock: Many Dacor models have a control lock feature. Look for a lock icon on the display and follow the user manual to unlock (often holding a specific key for 3–5 seconds).
- Door switch: Verify the oven door closes fully and that the door switch clicks when pressed. If the oven thinks the door is open, it may not start. Replace the door switch if it does not change state.
- Thermal fuse: Access the rear or top of the oven and locate the thermal fuse on the oven chassis. Test for continuity; replace if open.
- ERC/relay board: If all safety devices are good, the ERC may not be energizing relays and may need replacement.
