Dacor
Oven temperature calibration issue
Oven temperature is inaccurate (too hot or too cold) without showing an error code

Possible Causes
Aging oven temperature sensor, Control calibration drift, Poor rack placement or airflow, Door gasket leaks causing heat loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use proper oven mitts when handling thermometers or racks in a hot oven.
- Verify with thermometer: Place an oven-safe thermometer in the center of the oven and preheat to 350°F. Compare the displayed temperature to the thermometer reading after 20–30 minutes.
- Adjust calibration: Many Dacor controls allow temperature offset adjustment (e.g., ±35°F). Refer to your user manual to enter calibration mode and adjust accordingly.
- Inspect sensor: If the offset required is large (>25°F), test the oven sensor resistance and replace if out of spec.
- Check door gasket: Inspect the door gasket for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if it does not seal evenly.
