Possible Causes
Loss of communication between touch panel and main board, Incorrect voltage supply to control, Static discharge or power surge, Loose harness between UI and power board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker for at least 5 minutes before servicing.
- Power reset: Restore power after 5–10 minutes. If E0 clears and does not return, it may have been a transient glitch.
- Check supply voltage: Verify the range is receiving correct voltage (typically 240 V for electric ranges, 120 V for gas ignition) at the terminal block. Incorrect voltage can cause control errors.
- Inspect harness: Remove the control panel and check the wiring harness between the user interface (touch control) and the main power board. Reseat connectors and ensure no pins are bent.
- Replace faulty board: If E0 persists, either the touch control or main board is defective. Replace the user interface board first (most common), then the main control if needed.
