Control panel displays LOC or a lock icon, buttons do not respond, oven and cooktop may not operate.

Safety first: This is not a hardware failure; no disassembly is required.

• Disable child lock: On most Danby ranges, press and hold the designated lock key (often marked with a padlock icon) for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. Refer to your user manual for the exact key combination.
• Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 1 minute, then restore and try the lock sequence again.
• Check keypad: If the lock key does not respond at all, the keypad may be faulty. Inspect and replace the touchpad or UI board if necessary.
