Bent or worn door hinges, Hinge receiver damage in cabinet, Obstruction between door and frame, Warped door liner
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect the door gasket area and bottom of the door for debris, pans, or racks preventing full closure. Remove any obstructions.
- Remove and reseat door: Open the door to the broil stop position (about 4–6 inches open). Lift the door straight up to remove it from the hinges. Inspect hinges and hinge receivers for bending or damage. Reseat the door carefully.
- Replace hinges: If the door still sags or will not close, replace both door hinges as a set with Danby-approved parts.
- Check gasket: Replace the door gasket if it is deformed and preventing a proper seal.
