Possible Causes
Tripped thermal cut-out, Failed relay board, Broken wiring to elements, Faulty function selector switch (on knob models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect the range from mains before removing panels. High voltage is present at elements.
- Check settings: Ensure a valid cooking mode and temperature are selected and that the timer is not set to delayed start or end.
- Inspect thermal cut-out: Access the top or rear of the oven to locate the safety thermostat (thermal cut-out). Some models have a manual reset button; press it if present.
- Test elements: With a multimeter, check continuity of the top, bottom, and grill elements. Replace any open-circuit element.
- Check wiring and relays: Inspect wiring from the relay board to the elements for burns or loose connections.
Repair: If elements and wiring are good, replace the relay/power board or function selector switch as indicated by testing.
