Possible Causes
Mains voltage above specification, Incorrect connection to three-phase supply, Faulty internal voltage sensing circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only qualified persons should measure live voltages.
- Check supply: Have an electrician measure the mains voltage at the hob connection while under load. It must be within the range specified on the rating plate.
- Verify wiring: Ensure the hob is wired according to the De Dietrich diagram for your supply type. Incorrect bridging can cause overvoltage on electronics.
- Reset: After correcting any supply issues, power off for 5 minutes, then test again.
Note: If E3 persists with correct voltage, the internal sensing circuit on the main board may be defective.
