Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Only qualified persons should work on mains connections. Isolate power at the breaker before opening the terminal cover.
- Check supply configuration: Compare the wiring at the hob terminal block with the De Dietrich installation diagram (usually on the underside of the hob). Ensure bridges and phase connections are correct for your supply type.
- Tighten terminals: Inspect the terminal block for signs of overheating or loose screws. Tighten all connections firmly.
- Measure voltage: Using a multimeter, verify that the supply voltage at the terminal block is within the specified range (typically 220–240 V for EU models). If outside range, contact an electrician.
- Reset: After correcting any wiring issues, power the unit off for 5 minutes, then restore power and test.
Note: If F06 persists with correct wiring and stable mains, the internal power supply on the main board may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
