Possible Causes
Failed power module on one side, Burned connector between main board and side module, Overheated heat sink on one side, Internal communication fault between modules
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before removing the hob.
- Identify affected side: Note which zones are dead and which display F09. This helps locate the faulty module (left or right).
- Inspect connectors: Access the underside and locate the power modules. Check the multi-pin connectors between the main control board and each side module. Reseat and inspect for discoloration or melting.
- Check heat sinks: Ensure heat sinks are firmly attached and not loose. Overheating can damage one side module.
Repair: If no obvious wiring issue is found, replace the affected side power module. This is typically a like-for-like De Dietrich spare part.
