Possible Causes
Failed convection fan motor, Blocked fan blades, Faulty fan relay on control board, Broken fan wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before removing the oven from its housing.
- Listen for fan: In a fan-assisted mode, the convection fan should run. If silent, suspect the fan or its supply.
- Access fan: Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity to expose the convection fan. Check for obstructions or burnt-on grease preventing rotation.
- Spin test: With power off, spin the fan by hand. If stiff or seized, the motor must be replaced.
- Check wiring: Inspect wiring from the fan motor to the control board for heat damage.
Repair: Replace the convection fan motor if defective. If the motor is good but not powered, the control board or fan relay may need replacement.
