Possible Causes
Corrupted calibration data in control board memory, Faulty EEPROM on main PCB, Voltage spike during power restoration, Internal control board failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power at the breaker before removing any panels.
- Perform a hard reset: Turn off the breaker for at least 15 minutes to fully discharge the control electronics. Restore power and check if F12 clears.
- Run initial setup: Some DeLonghi models require time, language, or initial configuration after power loss. Follow the user manual to complete any setup prompts.
- Check supply stability: Ensure the oven is on a dedicated circuit with stable voltage. Avoid using long extension cords or shared high-load circuits.
- Service mode (if available): On some models, entering service mode allows recalibration of the temperature sensor. This procedure should be performed only with the service manual.
- Replace control board: If F12 persists and the oven will not operate, the main control board memory is likely damaged and the board should be replaced by a qualified technician.
