Possible Causes
Failed clock/timer PCB, Stuck timer buttons, Faulty connection between timer and main control, Internal power supply fault on timer module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.
- Reset timer: After restoring power, attempt to reset the clock following the user manual. Some DeLonghi ovens will not operate until the time is set.
- Check buttons: Press each timer button several times to free any that may be stuck. Avoid excessive force.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the control panel and check the harness between the timer module and the main control board. Reseat connectors firmly.
- Replace timer module: If F20 persists and the timer is unresponsive, replace the clock/timer module with the correct DeLonghi part. Transfer mounting brackets and reconnect wiring as per the original configuration.
