Possible Causes
Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder (socket), Broken lamp glass from heat, Faulty oven light switch or relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before changing the bulb. Glass covers can be hot and fragile.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass cover over the lamp (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature oven lamp specified by DeLonghi.
- Inspect socket: Check the lamp holder for signs of burning or corrosion. If damaged, replace the lamp holder.
- Test switch: On models with a manual light switch, test for continuity when switched on. Replace if faulty.
- Control issue: If the bulb and holder are good but the light never comes on, the control board light relay or wiring may be faulty and require professional service.
