How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: This error can indicate dangerous internal faults. Disconnect power immediately and do not continue using the appliance until inspected.
- Visual inspection: Remove the cooktop and open the bottom cover. Look for burnt components, melted wires, or scorch marks on the power module.
- Check wiring harnesses: Inspect all harnesses from the terminal block to the power module and from the module to coils for insulation damage or pinched wires.
- Do not attempt to bypass: Never bridge fuses or safety devices to clear E9; this can cause fire or electric shock.
- Module replacement: In most cases, the entire power module must be replaced. Due to high voltages and complex circuitry, this is best done by a qualified technician.
