Possible Causes
User-activated control lock function, Accidental long press on lock key, Stuck lock button on touch panel, Faulty user interface logic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure all burners and oven functions are off before changing lock settings.
- Unlock sequence: On most Etna models, press and hold the key symbol or lock button for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. Refer to the user manual for the exact combination.
- Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off the breaker for 1 minute, then restore power and try the unlock sequence again.
- Check for stuck key: If the lock icon reappears immediately, the lock key area on the touch panel may be stuck or shorted; inspect for spills or damage.
- Panel replacement: If the lock function cannot be disabled and the key area is not physically stuck, the touch control panel may need replacement.
