Possible Causes
Normal magnetostriction in coils, Thin or warped cookware base, Loose mounting of induction coil, Resonance at specific frequencies
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Noise alone is not usually dangerous, but ensure cookware is stable and the surface is not cracked.
- Try different cookware: Use heavier, flat-bottomed pans to reduce noise.
- Change power level: Slightly increase or decrease the power setting to move away from the resonant frequency.
- Check mounting: If noise is excessive, disconnect power, remove the cooktop, and verify that the induction coils are firmly mounted with all screws and damping pads in place.
- Replace coil mounts: If rubber or felt pads are worn, replace them to reduce vibration.
