Etna oven heats but does not reach or maintain the set temperature; food undercooked or overcooked.

Safety: Use heat-resistant gloves when placing or removing thermometers from the oven.

• Verify temperature: Place an accurate oven thermometer in the center of the cavity and compare readings to the set temperature.
• Sensor test: Measure the resistance of the oven sensor at room temperature and at a known elevated temperature if possible. Replace if out of spec.
• Door seal: Inspect the door gasket for gaps, tears, or compression. Replace if it does not seal evenly.
• Calibration: Some Etna controls allow temperature offset adjustment in the settings menu. Adjust according to the user manual if the oven is consistently off by a fixed amount.
• Thermostat replacement: On mechanical models, replace the oven thermostat if it does not cycle correctly.
