Possible Causes
Unsuitable cookware (non‑magnetic), Cookware base too small for zone, Damaged induction coil sensor, Faulty induction power board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the hob with the main power switch and, if accessible, switch off the circuit breaker before touching any internal parts. Allow the glass to cool completely.
- Check cookware type: Use a ferromagnetic pan (cast iron or stainless steel with magnetic base). Test with a magnet – it should stick firmly to the base.
- Check pan size and position: Ensure the pan fully covers the marked cooking zone and is centered. Very small pans may not be detected.
- Try another zone: Place the same pan on a different induction zone. If it works there, the original zone may have a sensor or coil issue.
- Reset the hob: Turn off power at the breaker for 2–3 minutes, then restore power and test again.
- If Er01 persists on one zone only: The induction coil sensor or power module for that zone is likely faulty. Replacement of the zone’s induction coil and/or power board is required and should be done by a qualified technician due to high‑voltage components.
