Possible Causes
Control panel locked (child lock), Moisture or spills on touch surface, Object resting on control area, Faulty touch control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not use sharp tools on the glass. Turn off the hob if you need to clean extensively.
- Remove objects: Take away any cookware, cloths, or utensils resting on the control area.
- Clean and dry the panel: Wipe the glass control area with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove grease or spills, then dry thoroughly. Moisture can simulate a continuous key press.
- Disable child lock: On many Fagor hobs, press and hold the key symbol or lock icon for 3–5 seconds until the lock indicator goes off. Refer to your specific model’s manual for the exact combination.
- Power reset: Turn off the hob at the mains or circuit breaker for 2–3 minutes, then restore power and test the keys again.
- If only some keys fail or Er03 remains: The touch control PCB or glass sensor interface may be defective and must be replaced as a complete control assembly.
