Possible Causes
Open or shorted induction coil, Failed IGBT or power transistor on module, Burnt track on power PCB, Faulty current sensing circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: High‑voltage and high‑current components are present. Only qualified personnel should work on live‑side electronics. Disconnect from mains before any disassembly.
- Identify affected zone: Note which zone triggers Er07. Other zones may still function normally.
- Visual inspection: Remove the hob and open the bottom cover. Inspect the power module for burnt components, cracked coils, or melted insulation.
- Check coil continuity: With a multimeter, measure resistance of the affected zone’s induction coil. An open circuit or very low resistance compared to other coils indicates a fault.
- Module replacement: In most cases, the entire power module for that zone must be replaced, as component‑level repair is not supported by Fagor.
