How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Electrical diagnostics should be performed by a qualified electrician. Always isolate power before accessing internal wiring.

Check other appliances: If lights flicker or other appliances behave erratically, there may be a supply issue. Contact your power provider or electrician.
Verify wiring: Confirm that the hob is wired according to the Fagor diagram, with correct phase and neutral connections and proper earthing.
Dedicated circuit: Ensure the hob is on a dedicated circuit with the correct breaker rating and cable size.
Inspect filter board: Inside the hob, check the mains filter / EMI board for burnt components or loose connectors.
Replace defective parts: If supply is stable but Er08 persists, the mains filter board or power module may need replacement.

Er08 appears intermittently and zones cut out during cooking.
