How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the hob and disconnect from mains before inspecting the glass or control area.
- Inspect glass: Look closely for hairline cracks or chips around the control icons. Damage can cause false touches.
- Dry the area: If there has been a spill, remove power and allow the hob to dry for several hours. Do not use heat guns directly on the glass.
- Clean surface: Gently clean the control area with glass cleaner and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly.
