Possible Causes

Loose mains connection at terminal block, Damaged power cord, Internal fuse blown on control board, Faulty EOC power supply section

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Only qualified persons should access mains connections.

  • Check supply: Verify correct voltage at the wall outlet or cooker connection unit using a multimeter.
  • Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover to access the mains terminal block on the range. Tighten any loose screws and look for signs of overheating or melting. Replace damaged blocks or wires.
  • Internal fuse: Some Falcon models have an internal fuse on the control board. With power disconnected, check and replace with the exact type and rating if blown. Investigate the cause of the blown fuse before re-energizing.
  • Replace EOC: If supply and wiring are correct but the control remains unstable and F50 persists, replace the EOC.

Never up-rate fuses or bypass safety devices; this can create a fire and shock hazard.
