Possible Causes

Open warming drawer element, Failed drawer temperature sensor, Loose connector at drawer harness, Faulty drawer control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the mains before removing the drawer.

  • Remove drawer: Pull the warming drawer out fully and lift to disengage from runners (refer to Falcon manual). Disconnect any electrical connectors carefully.
  • Test element: Measure resistance across the drawer heater terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed element; replace the heater assembly.
  • Check sensor: Locate the small NTC sensor in the drawer cavity and test its resistance. Replace if open or shorted.
  • Inspect harness: Check for pinched or broken wires where the drawer slides in and out.

If all components test good, the main control or dedicated drawer PCB may be faulty and should be replaced.
