F15 displayed; oven may not respond to temperature changes or may shut off unexpectedly

Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing internal components.

• Power reset: Turn off power for 10–15 minutes to clear any transient watchdog errors. Restore power and test.
• Check for surge damage:
  • Remove the back panel to access the control board.
  • Inspect for burnt components, discoloration, or bulging capacitors.
• Verify supply voltage:
  • With power restored (only if you are comfortable and equipped), verify correct line voltage at the control board input using a multimeter.
  • Incorrect voltage can cause watchdog faults; if voltage is unstable, contact an electrician.
• Replace control board:
  • If F15 persists and supply voltage is correct, replace the electronic oven control board with the OEM Frigidaire Professional part.
