F92 displayed; oven door will not unlock after self-clean or power loss

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker. Allow the oven to cool completely before attempting to unlock.

• Power reset:
  • After the oven is cool, restore power and attempt to cancel the cycle to trigger unlock.
• Manual release:
  • Consult your model's service information for the manual door lock release (often accessible from the top or rear with a pull rod or lever).
  • Use the manual release to open the door.
• Inspect lock assembly:
  • Once open and power is off, access the lock motor assembly.
  • Check for heat damage, binding, or broken parts.
• Test motor and switches:
  • Verify the lock motor and unlock switch function correctly with a multimeter.
  • Replace the door lock motor assembly if defective.
• Control board:
  • If the lock assembly is good, the EOC may not be sending the unlock signal; replace the electronic oven control board.
