Oven light works but oven will not heat in any mode

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting wiring.

• Check breakers:
  • Verify both poles of the double-pole breaker are on and not tripped.
• Inspect terminal block:
  • Remove rear cover at power cord entry.
  • Look for burnt wires or melted plastic.
  • Replace the terminal block and any damaged wiring.
• Check thermal fuse / high-limit:
  • Locate the oven thermal fuse or high-limit thermostat (often on the rear of the oven cavity).
  • Test for continuity; if open, replace the oven thermal fuse / high-limit thermostat and investigate cause of overheating (cooling fan, vents).
• Control board:
  • If power and safety devices are good, replace the electronic oven control board.
