How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before testing.
- Access and test sensor:
- Remove the oven temperature sensor as described for F30.
- Measure resistance at room temperature. A shorted sensor will read very low resistance (near 0 Ω).
- If shorted, replace the sensor.
- Inspect wiring:
- Check the harness from sensor to EOC for pinched spots where insulation may be cut, especially where it passes through the rear oven wall.
- Repair or replace any shorted wiring.
- Control board: If sensor and wiring are good, the EOC sensor input may be shorted internally. Replace the electronic oven control.
